In this episode, we dive deep into one of the six pillars of social entrepreneurship education: the pillar of FINANCE! Talking to kids about money can be difficult as complex topics of race, identity and privilege intersect this topic. We believe at the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship that because we all live within the shared system of finance, all of us –whether we are 4 or 104– have an opportunity and perhaps obligation to understand how that system can be shifted and shaped to assign value in line with the things that matter to us. We discuss the many fun and creative entry points to talking to our youngest students about Fair Trade products. This is a lively episode! We hope you will reach out to discuss this topic in more depth.
